Annual Book Sale
Donations are being accepted for the sale until the week of the sale. Books,
Thursday, August 24 - 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday, August 25 - 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 26 - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Hardcover books, trade paperbacks (oversized paperbacks), and audio/video materials are $1.
- Mass market paperbacks are 50 cents.
- Saturday will be a "clearance sale" with bags available for you to fill for $5 per bag.
- Book dealers welcome! Make an offer if you want to buy in bulk!

Volunteers are needed for the sale setup, August 21 -23. Boxes have to be moved out of offsite storage to the auditorium, and books and other materials sorted. Help is also needed during the sale.
Please note that the library will be closed from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch on Thursday and Friday, as usual, but the sale will remain open during this time.
For those considering traveling to Whitewright from longer distances, there are some restaurants downtown and on the highway. Just ask our staff or volunteers for directions. There's also a movie theater and shops one block away from the library building if you'd like to make a full day of your trip.
